Colors and Pulsations

Audiovisual installation.

A rapid strobe effect of monochrome frames in full color spectrum followed by a pulsating monotone four channel soundtrack resulting in an intensified state of visual and sonic hypnosis altering the balance between the physical perception and the actual experience occurring in the brain of the perceiver. Inspired from Tony Conrad's experimental black/white film "The Flicker" (1965) Jacob Eriksen is accelerating the original concept in the scope of colors and speed into a generative audiovisual installation.

Exhibited at:
Cont.Music - Experimental Sound Night vol. 2, American Whirlpool, Berlin (DE), October 2 2015.
