I am currently undertaking my doctoral candidature in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at Universität der Künste Berlin. The doctorate is financially supported with a research scholarship from the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung.
The working title of the research projects is “Sounding the Posthuman Attitude—A Historico-Aesthetical Analysis of Onto-Epistemological Perspectives in Contemporary Sonic Arts”. The research project is an analysis of how posthuman theories, concepts and aesthetics are addressed and expressed in contemporary sonic arts and how this is to be understood as a form of artistic knowledge production. This will, I hope, bring new perspectives into theory of sonic arts in the 21st Century.
