Jacob Eriksen
About
Artist, curator, and researcher working with sound as performance, installations, curation, workshops, writings, artistic research, and alternative arts education – often critically informed, reflected and rooted cross-disciplinary in theory and artistic practice – and often just letting loose in the search for happy accidents. He performs and exhibits solo and in collaborations using modular synthesizers and other found sonic potentials.
He is the director of Sound Art Lab, curating director of Struer Tracks – Biennial for Sound and Listening, co-initiator of 89 Sound Art School, and teaches at Sound Studies and Sonic Arts, UdK Berlin.
